The aftermath of the Fortnite Myths and Mortals season may result in a Fallout collab

With the Myths and Mortals season in full swing, some have started to speculate what’ll come next to Fortnite. Given the nature of divine beings, and the recent success of the Fallout show, a Reddit user has a pretty solid speculation.

The next Fortnite season may have a Fallout theme
Reddit user daspaceinvader shared his speculation with the Fortnite subreddit, that when the Myths and Mortals season ends, the Gods may have enough of being summoned only to be defeated, leading to an apocalypse of sorts. The perfect gateway to a Fallout collab.

I believe a Fallout collab is not far off at all, whether it becomes the theme for the whole season, or merely a portion of it, like the Avatar collab. For the Gods to leave the Fortnite world without any sort of impact would seem rather anticlimactic, and I don’t think that’s Fortnite’s style.

The two Godly regions may be reduced to some sort of wasteland, where power armor could be found around to hop into. Emergent mutated enemies may also be found skulking around.
No matter the extent of the collaboration with Fallout, if it happens, there will be some key skins that’ll enter the shop or pass, such as Lucy, The Ghoul, and maybe even the iconic Vault Boy.

Honestly, I can’t see a collab of some sort not happening, as the show is so damn successful, and Fallout is already a very established franchise.

When is Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 ending?

We will doubtless have more information closer to the end of the current season, which is still a month off. Myths and Mortals is scheduled to close on the 24th of May, which is when Season 3 will begin, and the aftermath of the divine intervention will be revealed.
